INSIDE THE LINES – TRAINING UPDATE
By Daniel Dufty
Box Hill has been working hard at Waverley Park training three times a week in preparation for the 2010 season.
A variety of drills have been used to maximize players’ performance of all areas on the ground with training in game practice scenarios.
Not only on the track with the many hit-outs, drills and sprints, but in the weights room, players have been bulking-up.
Box Hill coach Brendon Bolton has been impressed with the work of the side.
“To date there has been some impressive contributors. Sam Gibson, Shaun Pollard, Ed Curnow and Leigh Kitchen continue to set high standards across all of the aerobic tests.”
“The coaching staff have been impressed with how receptive and eager to learn all of our new players have been.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
There was plenty more training info in the email I received from the club, so go to the site, and sign up for a newsletter subscription, you know it makes sense. :)
