Nice. Great to see what we (Bendigo) can do when they finally have some AFL players to play.

Yeah, and apparently Jordan McMahon is one of them which I'd say is actually a disadvantage for Coburg.

Thought we'd have a deep enough list to finally get a Bendigo win this year... hopefully it isn't the only one and we haven't wasted it in the pre-season!

Great to see Carlisle performing.... had heard he was really struggling to find the tempo over the pre-season.

I think Grant brought him over from Frankston.

Could be wrong.

I'm afraid to say there are actually 10-12 Richmond listed players playing from what I understand so it's a good effort by the Dons.

The postive for us is that Richmonds best 22 also beat Richmond remainders+Coburg by 140-odd points a couple of weeks ago.

Coburg has definitely gone backwards, how has Bendigo's recruiting been after their horror year last year?

Rated Carlisle before last years draft so good to here him making an input.

two worries: Jetta injured a thumb or finger. another poster (bona-fides unknown) had hurley leave the ground late with a sore wrist again.

sounds like the last qtr was a non-event. coburg had the wind, essendon played keepings off.

only tigers players mentioned by name were Polo and Mcmahon. neither would be flattered by the comments.

Ha ha okay cheers saladin. Would have hoped there was something decent said about Polo but didn't expect much more from McMahon.

The word Bowden was used when describing McMahon.

Should not be too much of a surprise. We added mature rookies to the list. Richmond added 10239 kids.

Spewing about Hurley. Hope its nothing serious.

Because it's his wrist, I think it might just be a precaution. Hope I'm right....

Good to finally get up. Would have liked Neagle to have kicked a few more, but first game back, it's a start.

At least there's an excuse for first year players' positions being wrong.

Henry Slattery is still a midfielder in DT.

Was thinking of subbing in Carlisle in for one of my other rookies..but don't have any room in the backline for him :(

Carlisle did well but don't expect him to play much seniors this year. Still very raw!

According to the official Twitter, the only concern is Jetta dislocated a thumb.

So Hurley's wrist is fine.

The Bomber boys had two wins this weekend. That's great. Hopefully we'll see a couple of these players move up into the senior side next week.
