Love their attempt to jazz it up with funky TV ads beforehand - lots of dance music, flashing lights.

It ain't the Oscars. Just a bunch of sad TV 'personalities' trying to make believe they put out good television.

Wake up! Aussie TV is 90% crap - and the 10% that is any good would never get a Logie.

He kept touching people - one arm behind them, pushing them towards the microphone. Get your ugly freaking hands off me Eddie!

While I was not a fan of the logies (a whole lot of pretty people getting awards for being pretty), the actual ceremony was quite entertaining.
However: a few points:
a) why can't sound recordists do thier job properly? How hard is it to boost a microphone so Delta Goodrem and other entertainers (not just at the logies)can be heard.

b) we do not need o/s actors arriving for our awards!
'How do you like Australia?"
"Well, after arriving at 8:30 this morning, having 15 hours of sleep to counteract jetlag, the hotel room is nice"
Nice one Wilko!
(Now i hear that the Pres from 24 is on the lookout for knee-high ugg boots!)

c) some awards for the directos/writers/producers of the shows would be nice. Who is the person responsible for those shocking jerking shots from Stingers? Who are the people responsible for providing the basis for those 'pretty' people who won an award? It's nice to be able to flash a smile and 'act', but you really need a substantial, well written (on Australian TV?), well directed program.
And don't worry if you are thinking: But h_i_h, no-one will know (or care) who these people are? Does anyone know who the person was from 'Australian Story'? No, but she won an award.

Therefore, congratulations to all recipients (especially rove (cousin of shane from FD)) but will we ever se the day when John Woofd wins the award he so rightly deserves. Come on Nanna's, pick up the TV Week and start voting!
The teeny-boppers obviouls have no idea.

My thoughts...
