Well there must be some??
No, I'm not talking about DJ Sammy, or the Vengaboys or any of that tripe!!
Anyone for Metro Area, Jeff Mills, Derrick May, DJ Rolando, Larry Heard, Richie Hawtin, Steve Bug, Martini Bros, Greenskeepers.. etc...
Curious... bueller..?

Yeah, progressive is good.
I've always been a drum'n'bass man though. Also like breaks, jungle and oldskool - I guess they're all pretty similar though.
Really like Goldie, LTJ Bukem, Kid Kenobi and DJ Rap (the HOTTEST DJ in the world!!!*drools*). If you haven't heard of DJ Rap, look her up, she's wicked.
To me, there's nothing better than lounging back and chilling to DnB after a big night, with a helping hand from some of nature's finest 'tobacco'. ;)

I generally like most electronic music. more into trance and deep house, but quite like triphop, jungle and drum n' bass as well.
been getting into German DJs lately - Sven Vath, Westbam, Ian Pooley, ATB. also like the "more commercial" ones (for want of a better word) - Timo Maas, Paul Van Dyk. also stuff like Kraftwerk.
also like DJ Krush, Lamb, Tricky, Asian Dub Foundation, Talvin Singh, Squarepusher.
I'm willing to give most electronic music a go :D

Theres one right here mate.
I like some of the guys you mention. Jeff Mills has some killer tracks, but i cant say i was at all impressed with his mixing skills. He played (along with Derrick May) at one of the Stardusts last year and his beat mixing skills were up the creek. Couldnt mix to save himself which sorta killed all the killer tracks he was playing.
Derrick May is also alright.
Richie Hawtin is a legend. I like Metamatics
Im more into Progressive and Drum n Bass tho and am being won over by Breaks as well.
Progressive id go for - Sasha, Digweed, Satoshi Tomiie, Sander K, Kasey Taylor, Tyler Stadius, Creamer & Stephane K, PQM and Bill Hamel and Dave Seaman can put on a good show.

I agree with almost everything youve said.
LTJ Bukem is a genius. So easy to get lost in his sets. And MC Conrad...hypnotic voice.
If you enjoy lounging around having a smoke and listening to some DnB, i suggest you get 'MC Conrad - Logical Progressoins Level 4'. Awesome cd of MC Conrads stuff. He actually has a live band - guitars, keyboards, bass, drums, percussion. The most chilled out cruisy easy to listen to drum n bass youll ever hear.
Andy C, DJ Hype, Shimon, Matrix, EZ Rollers, Roni Size and his Reprazent crew (i prefer DJ Suv over the others...altho Krust + Die played at Enchanted two years back and blew the place apart), Stakka + Skynet, Big Bud, Makoto, Nookie, Doc Scott, Tech Itch, Adam F.
On the Breaks side of thing i prefer Progressive style Breaks than anything else. DJ Hyper is a god! As is Adam Freeland. Phil K would be my favourite Aussie Breaks guy along with NuBreed - who put on the single greatest set ive ever seen at Enchanted Forest last year. The coolest, grooviest, in your face Breaks and then an hour of some hard Drum n Bass. Wish i had that set on CD.

I don't know what yers are talking about in any specific way, but I do love 'Kevin And Perry Go Large', which I believe mentions this sort of music?

By memory most of the tunes in that film would fall under the 'trance' dance music genre :)
All I wanna do is do it!

I contrast believe i forgot this guy before....but High Contrast is a must for DnB fans. The guy would be close to the best DnB DJ in the world right now. He plays the most technically perfect sets. Absolutely awesome bloke too.
I'm a prog man personally, but yeah techno usually pushes my buttons as well.

You serious? I saw him at TT last year and I was in awe. His technique was flawless. Probably the best set I've ever witnessed live.
Im more into progressive and breaks.
You ever go to Sunny?

Well there you go!! Could have just been an off day...but id say Mills set at Stardust last year would go down as the most dissapointing set ive heard.
That and Cassius at Stardust this year - the WORST beat mixer goin around.
