I was watching one of those music shows on tv and i saw a video of this song. I think it was called 'who let the dogs out'. Anyway it was sooooooo funny. Apparently it's been a no1 hit world wide. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Wouldn't it be funny if they had that song playing when the doggies come out for their warm up!!! http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

lol @ hahn!
Personally I don't like the song, it's extremely annoying, but I think we (as in the doggies) should definelty use it some way next year. It would be very fitting!!! lol http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif
I heard the song too and had similar thoughts! I also thought we could maybe use it to annoy other teams and their supporters http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif
But we will have to be playing well or it could be used against us, lol
Sorry to invade your boards but I was replying to Westy Boy so I thought I would pop in.
I like the song. It is good for a laugh and I think the dogs would be mad not to use it in some kind of way.
As for annoying the other team and their supporters, I can tell you as a supporter of another team that you already do that with that ridiculous virtual doggie thing after every goal. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif Not so much the woofing but the guy (dogs) voice.
And we have to put up with it in Round 1! http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/mad.gif

You got your wish http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif
Couldn't stand it on Saturday night (and if they HAD to play it, IMO it could have been played it a little louder to get the kids involved), and that animated bulldog trying to sing it out of synch didn't help. Sorry to be so negative .... but it was shocking night! http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/mad.gif
And sainter ..... i'm sure you didn't mind the song and the dog's antics that much considering the end result of the match. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/mad.gif http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif

The memories. I remember Doug Hawkins announcing on The Footy Show that it will be used for the first time at the weekend.
I still hear a few supporters every now and then yell, "Who let the Dogs out?" when we kick a goal.

I miss "Ted" on the scoreboard.
Some stuck a youtube link up for the Beatles "Hey Bulldog" a few months it wasn't a bad Dog related tune.

I think we should resurect the Doggy Doggy Doggy...Woof Woof Woof after each goal. Our marketing department back then really hit on a winner:thumbsu:

....ugggh. Terrible stuff. It still gets a run. Down at Geelong last year it was getting a thrashing by some drunk guy. Was almost a relief that we didn't score much in the second half.
We're not 'doggys', we're bulldogs. Doggies are little pooches that Paris Hilton walks around with, or partakes in ;).
Stick to using 'Bulldogs' or 'Footscray' I say.

My parents gave me the name rodogs. Ridiculous I know. Perhaps this is why I'm staunch on footscray and bulldogs.
