Interesting stuff. You do have too much time on your hands :D

What is it with us and Port Adelaide?

13 Mar 2010, 03:36
won 6 lost 13 vs port all time easily our worst record against any team!! even have a losing record against them in melbourne which is won 4 lost 5

only other teams we have all time losing records against is collingwood(w98-L118-D4) and carlton(w109-L117-D4)

and brisbane lions (W9-L16)but they were tthe bears and fitztory originally,

we should start pulling back in that port 7game difference this year i hope!!!

our record at aami is P22 W6 L16, Melbourne and hawthorn have worse record at Aami though!!

interesting to note North has a 16W - 6L record against port, maybe we should be asking them what they do,

Its weird how some teams just seem to beat some frequently and others lose. Interesting concept.

We've seemed to manage to only play Port when we have $hit loads of injuries or are out of form.

I can't wait to play them @ the Dome this year, I hope we maul 'em

Richmond - gee they have been going backwards yet in recent years they have been very good at beating us.

With Port we always seem to play them over there.

It goes to show that we have been though the cycle of being good at the start of the decaede before slipping then in recently we have started moving up, a trend that should continue this year.

P.S yes we have a tough draw but yeah if we cannot compete at this level then i am sure the good folks at the EDFL would be happy to have us.

No we don't. Play them once a year and the location swaps every year.

Geez what an eye-opener! I had nfi our record against Richmond was that bad (2 wins out of our last 9 games) and so good against Brisbane (haven't lost since 2005).

Midway throught the decade our record vs. Collingwood was something like 14 wins from the last 16. Was a brilliant feeling. :D

Ah yes. The 43 point loss is in black not red. I was looking for games in the red.

Nobody's mentioned North. I can't believe how many times we lost to them in the last decade, especially considering their position on the ladder. Port and Geelong are understandable as they had extended good patches throughout the decade, but most times, North were in almost the same position as us or worse, and still we can't beat them. Last year's game a classic example. We always bring our worst game against them, barring Knight's first game.
