My signature was keenly sought by Sydney and the Bulldogs. The Doggies won out - yet I played only one senior game: v Richmond in 1997. I am...?

This is typical of me. I can remember stuff that happened twenty years ago, but I cant think what the answer to this one is.
This is just a guess but was it Sam Phillipou?
Now where are those car keys?

Not a bad effort LY - from memory Phillipou played just once in the ones. But no - second effort required!

I think I've worked it out. Is the answer you're looking for David Round? If so, Round played two games in '97. Am I right?

Thanks for the more recent one WWB! But it's still too tough! http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Do praccy matches count?
Steven Pitt kicked 5 in his one and only appearance for us in the '97 pre season, then left for SA. Don't know if it was against Richmond though. I know I'm wrong .... oh well ... thought I would give it a shot. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Phillipou was delisted at the end of 96 i think. Remember watching him against North at the Whitten Oval once and I thought he did pretty well, but it wasn't to be.

Oops. I've been ad-libbing again. Never put your faith in an ageing memory!
David Round is who I was looking for LY - I can't recall the other game he palyed, but I will happily stand corrected (on Phillipou too). It just makes your get all the more credible http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif
Jboyar - John Riley did play the 1 game as you've stated - he was worthy of an earlier trivia question - no. II I think it was.
Westy - with a stat like the Steven Pitt one, you should have posted your own question! Crikey - I wouldn't have got it. This is the Steven Pitt that went to the Dees?

It was a reserves practice match. He only played a half and I think it was against(suprise, suprise) Melbourne. He then took up a place on our list for two years while working as a police officer in SA.
