Was thinking about getting tix to Coldplay concert until I discovered they were $77.90 (plus bf?). I reckon that's outrageous for a young, promising band with only two albums behind them (how long would the concert go?!!) IMHO it's daylight robbery and the only way it will improve is if people vote with their feet. End of rant.

What about the fact that they aren't coming to Adelaide.....there isn't anything wrong with the prices.

$40 to $60? Are you kidding?
The price isn't that bad, Coldplay are a class act, I paid something like $ 65 to see Blink when they came out here a while ago and they were ****ing awful!
Coldplay are worth the money, they are very good live.

As sad as it is, the show is sold out here in Melbourne.
You just want to hope that Chris Martin doesn't start speaking to you in Japanese or even New Zealand when he comes to play because the patronising twit, (who's lauded here as a former university student & therefore an intelligent rock star who's the anthisesis to the thicko-ness of Liam Gallagher) started speaking to the somewhat bemused fans at a gig in Toronto, Canada, in crappy pigeon/tourist French-should anyone be in any doubt Toronto isn't in the French speaking part of Canada, it's just symptomatic of his patronising attitude that he tries to cover up with his 'niceness'.
