Are Misiti and Peverill lucky?

Good to see Cupes back and Davies get his chance..hopefully young James takes it while he has it.

Even Lloyd was in doubt!
It all happens at once! :(

Would be intresting if Hird played,
will prob hobble off again...
I dont think he would play, but who knows...
Sheeds always seems to have last minute chances..

Better get the needle and thread ready.

Nathan Thompson is going to tear us a new arse.

6 goals.

Nathan Thompson is the most over-rated player in the AFL today. If any Hawthorn player is going to dominate the game tonight, I'd have my house on Peter Everitt. Does anyone see David Hille found wanting big time by Spider drifting forward?

That's virtually a complete spine missing from tonight - Fletcher, Rioli, Rama, Hird & Lloyd. The stage is set for Mark Mercuri one would imagine. He needs to play very very very very very well.

Thommo kicked five goals for us last week. Hopefully of Peter Schwab manages to keep him there long enough. Spider will no doubt dominate the ruck - although I tend to think Hille is slighty underrated.

Thommo is capable of kicking bags when left at full-forward. He is moved around too much and needs to be left in one position for more than 10 seconds. Dutch to be left at CHF. If he is shoved in defence we are stuffed.

The only concern would be Schwab's coaching - (or lack thereof, as he has about as much of a football brain than Caroline Wilson)
and if Jonny Hay does not play we will be in strife.

OVerall - matchups dont look half bad, although we are all underdone, it should be a good match.

I love the Hawks to bits, but I think Sheedy V Schwab - we have no chance in hell of beating the Dons tonight.

Hille got beaten in the ruck last week by Royce Vardy. That speaks volumes about his ability and ticker. Or lack thereof.
