Saw this show on cable last night. In short the suspecting partner will engage the shows producers, who in turn, engage licenced PI's to do surveillance on partners they suspect may be naughty.

After a few days of surveillance they arrange a sting to catch the offender with his/her fling. One episode in their recap at the end of the show they busted a guy in a parked car with his lady friend looking for keys on the car floor.:D

My question...how the hell do they get around the legals of showing the stuff to air (apart from $) e.g. the cheater and his/her partner?

This is their website: http://www.cheaters.com/index.html

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that show. I'm a bit disappointed they've changed the host for the new series. Tommy was fabulous in his insincere sincerity!

It really is must-see TV. Right up there with Bridezilla's. :D

I think they get away with it, because it is so obviously fake.

I'm positive they're all actors.

no matter how much you trust your partner that show is enough to install fear into any relationship even if you are 80 years old and have been married for decades. The way that stupid Tommy over emphasised everything and was clearly playing on peoples emotions upsetting them to bring out the worst for the cameras was disgusting!

The bit i dont get is howcome they never show ones who arent actually cheating. All these women come on saying they SUSPECT cheating and are here to find out...well duh we already know they must be otherwise they wouldn't be airing it!
