Its the time of year again where I toss up on getting a membership for this great club of ours.

I was looking at just the bronze 11 package and understand this doesn't get me into the dome home games. Now do you need to actually purchase a full ticket from ticketek for those games, or i believe i read somewhere you just have to pay a booking fee of $3 or something like that?

Keep in mind I live in the country but don't see the point of the country membership as I will attend more than 4 games, and want to go to the blockbusters.

I know reserved seat is the best option but in case I don't make it to all the games I dont wanna lose money. Bit of a tight **** lol!

Cheers

2 questions:

1. Why have you left it so late?
2. Why are you tossing it up?

I live in the country but drive 90 minutes each way to go to every game.

Basically, I did the same last year. Ummed and Arrred about getting a membership. I didnt, but attended probably 8 games.

Im just finishing cricket season this week, and I play golf in winter on saturdays so the draw has a lot to do with my decisions. Its pretty good for me this year in terms of night games allowing me to play golf satdy morning.

If you don't think you'll make a heap of games go for the bronze 11 gamer. In regards to Dome games they are always fully ticketed, meaning, you have to pre-book a seat so yeah extra charges which is annoying (I think around $5 a booking).

Jump on board mate, you wont regret it.

Precisely the info i was after. Thanks mate!
I thought maybe i had to fork out for the membership, then buy a $30 ticket for the dome every week as well.

In terms of booking can you just do the pre-book online or do you need to ring up?
Also where can i expect to sit? Gen Admin...aka level 3 at the dome?

If you book early enough you can get on Level 1, but these go quick as they are limited. You can ring or book online, if your after decent seats i'd ring as they can give you lower level 3 so you're not in the nose bleeds.

Just a question, I also have a bronze membership.

I am trying to avoid booking fees:
-For the round 2 clash can I just rock up on the day and have the seat assigned to me free of charge?
-you mentioned level 1 seats? How early do I have to book them (when does booking open- 2 weeks prior?) and is it $5?
-Do you generally recommend booking or should I only book against Victorian teams?

Any help will be appreciated

I would also like to know as i am in the same boat. I would say you would have to book for round 2 to get a decent seat. I really dislike the whole having to book thing for the Dome games, very annoying. Would be nice just to walk up and get a good seat, ahwell have to wait till i can afford a reserved seat!

I'm fairly sure all games at the Dome are a ticketed event, I believe you can get a ticket at the ground for free when you show your membership but the lines can be quite long unless you get there early enough. Level 1 seating goes lightening quick, imagine 40k members trying to gets seats that only hold 15k, whenever you see games go on sale, get the tickets then. (Ian Collins and his money hungry ways sells the rest for about $30-$40 a ticket.). I've never booked games at the G (unless I plan to sit, or of course, ANZAC Day) but I always book for the Dome, even against Fremantle.
