Go for the ball not the man.

Numerous times you opted to bump and yes that got that player out the way but it allowed another Cat to just sweep the ball up.

Maybe one of his smaller, faster mates should have been nearby to stop this happening. Better than expected first game back from serious injury.

I'm happy for him to keep it up. He's one big SOB and can really intimidate opposition and take the game by the scruff of the neck.

im glad because with alot of players not going to opt for the bump anymore and with hille loving to do it and not afraid to do it will be a big asset to a team have a man 110kg smashing into somebody else is something that can help us espicially if it means he legally takes a player out for the night or dosnt allow them to play at their peak. Its a 1% that is being killed slowly but as long as hille keeps it up it can only be good.

Agreed - we need a physical presence and he provides it.

Not only that, you can see in the video footage, he did not initially intend to bump him anyway.

Really starting to annoy me as well. Sure throw your body around but when there is a ball to won throw yourself in there.

David Hille PLEASE continue to put your body on the line for the good of the side. To often we got pushed out in ruck contests last year. It's great to have you back.

David Hille PLEASE.. if your in the ruck and your tired and not willing to run.. signal to the bench that your tired or swap with Paddy or anyone.. because last week in the last quarter you competed in the ruck contest and then continued to stay there without moving with your hands on your hips.

At one point Geelong had the ball on their half forward flank.. Ottens gradually walked up to the edge of the square and not until the ball was switched in his direction did Hille decide it might be a good idea to man up..

Standing in the centre circle while play goes on around you should never be an option..

He loves it :D

That was the first AFL game I ever went to, we smash in the first quarter, Ryder out played Jonno Brown and Welsh and McVeigh went off.

*bump*

Like I said, one big MOFO that can take a game.

His physical presence clearly bothered Hawthorn.

Nice bump.

I stand by my previous post. Its a good thing that he does it.

Love the bump, when he is on the lead there is Nothing/Very little the opposition can do about it. Just one massive unit!

I wish he'd do this more often. He came out INTENT on not just making an impact, but being the premier force on the ground.

He's bloody impressive when he does that.

Hille adds much-needed bulk to the side. One of my favourite players to watch in our line-up, he seems like a pretty good bloke as well.

Hille's form has been good since his return to the side.

Not vintage 2008 form YET - But he does give us another running outlet and can provide a physical presence.
