O.K. it was undoubtedly an expected result winning inside 3 days by and innings and 27 runs, but hey, 12, yes 12 test wins in a row. That wont be betten in a bloody hurry. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif

Hey someone has to say it:

I am a West Indies supporter and I belive they will bounce back in Adelaide and stop the run. Either that or a draw so the run is stopped. But good on Australia for breaking the record the Windies were holding onto. Next test will be a good one.
GO WEST INDIES

Special Bruce, are u an australian, if u are hang your head in shame, how can you support the windies over australia, i am a huge cricketing fan and i would like to see a test go the full five days, it would be something of a rarity i know.
The windies are GONESKI 5-0 will be the result, don't kid yourself, miracles don't occur that often in elite sports.

aceguy,

SpecialBruce can go for whichever team he wants, in my opinion. It doesn't mean that he is un-australian.

Maybe he wants to cheer for the underdog?

acuguy - Maybe SpecialBruce came from the West Indies and moved to Australia?

Well it doesn't matter where he came from or ho he supports, there is no way the Aussies are going to lose the next match. The Windies are shit so who cares?? I'll be looking forward to going to the Boxing Day Test and cheering the Aussies on.

Acuguy - I am an Australian but I support West Indies. Like Same Old's said "It doesn't mean I'm unaustralian"
I barrack for Australia in all other sports. Olympics, Rugby, etc etc. In Cricket I like the West Indies and prefer to go with them. is there something wrong with that? Yes or No?
This next test will go over 5 days with hopefully the West Indies winning. They have under 2 weeks of preparation. If Lara, Campbell and others get in form, then Australia have a match on there hands.

Right. The aussies have won 12 games in a row but it doesn't really mean they are the best team ever.

For one, they never played South Africa in those 12 games. They've also played in good weather.

But anyway...AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!!! OI OI OI!!!

RF#1-You said that the Aussies have only played in good weather....They can't play in bad weather, if it rains the game stops untill it stops raining. And if it doesn't stop raining then the game is rained out.

I think that was Richmondfan#1's whole point PieGirl. The fact that in all the 12 test matches Australia has played, the weather has been so good they could get a result in each of the test matches.

Thank you GoEagles. My point exactly.

RF1, the Windies never played South Africa in their run either.

But I do agree that this team is not the best ever. It is however the most winningest team ever if there is such a word.

Well it was a silly was of saying it. I mean who wants the cricket to be stuffed around by the weather, and if WE have always had good weather then that means our opposition have too, but they just weren't good enough to beat us, so saying about the weather is pointless.

servo - nope, there is no such word as 'winningest' inspite of what Tim Webster may tell you !

cheers

No PieGirl, it is not. I'm comparing the Aussies to the windies team that we stole the record off and not our OPPOSITION. The good weather for us maybe different to good weather for another team on the other side of the world. It is not pointless.

Well then you certainly have a weird way of saying things RF#1, but okay point taken http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif

RF1, The 11 game streak of the Windies was ended with a loss not a draw. The game just before their run was a draw but it was not really through loss of play. They did lose a couple of hours but the game was far from over at the end.

The game leading up to this Aussie run was a loss.
