All tips for Round 9 in by 11:30pm Friday night please.

No more tips on here, creates opportunities for the leaders to keep in front.

Get your tips from one who knows...
four out of four last week. This week they came out of the hat thus:
Centrals
South
West
West Torrens
And I'm curious as to why this wierdo thinks that putting your tips here allows people the leaders to stay out in front. Keep taking the yellow pills steve...
Phil - it's pretty obvious, the leaders simply look at what those immediately below them are tipping and tip the same.

Crikey Dave, what kind of a half back flanker would do that??
It takes what remained of the fun out of it not seeing everyone's tips. Now its as exciting as a Monday night in Keith.
Its not as if sheep stations are up for grabs.
Maybe the sheep, but not the stations.

D'accord. Posting the tips here is half the fun.
Frankly I don't care if people see my tips - not that they're worth seeing, having got 2/8 from the last 2 weeks - so I will continue to post them here, as well as now PMing them to Steve.
I encourage all others who aren't paranoid about having their tips copied to do the same.

I will continue to post mine here too, if it's all right with you Steve.
I will invariably forget to do them otherwise and then you'll kick me out! :D
Perhaps if your website was updated a little faster people would be more inclined to do submit them 'secretly'. After all, what's the point of being in a tipping comp if you can't see how you're going?
And while I'm at it, i would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for organising the comp.

No you dont. I would remember anyway, its just a matter of seeing the lineups in the paper, working them out and then posting them.

You will receive away tips this week but only for 1 week as per the ruling.
Don't forget next time. If you're not going to be on the net all week, put them in early.
Now the tote:
19 Tipsters
West 11 - Sturt 8:
Looks like a close one with our tipsters, but even with Sturt slight favourites on the odds, people here think otherwise.
Eagles 13 - Port 6
Eagles are favourites in this one at Woodville. With Burton back who knows, but you all seem to think they'll come home with the goods.
Central 16 - Glenelg 3
Suprising to see 1 person pick the Bays, other 2 were automatic away selections. The Dogs "should" win but stranger things have happened.
South 10 - North 9
Evenly split. Should be a good close match, most people would say, South at home so South. When was the last time North beat South at Noarlunga???? Interesting one.
