I opted out of training tonight because of the weather combined with the wrong footwear (I will NOT wear flats on a wet ground thank you!) - so I couldn't follow up on this. But the website saved me the trouble! This is a direct reprint from www.vafa.asn.au

Anthony Molan - injured De La salle player (update)

Anthony is still in a critical condition and may remain so for a long time. Treatment is progressing very slowly due to the stress his body is under. Gentle dialysis continues and further assessments are being made regularly. There is still great uncertainty as to where the path forward will lead. The young, fit fighter is receiving the very best in medical attention.
Anthony's family and the De La Salle club would like to thank everyone who has extended their support. The kindness and concern expressed in thought and deed has provided great comfort.
The football club will soon be establishing a medical "hot-line" which will provide regular updates on Anthony's condition which this website will promote when it is available.
All at the VAFA have Anthony's well-being, his family and all at De La in the forefront of our minds.
