Hi Footy Fans...

Round 8 of the SANFL saw two surprise losses, one of them having to be the second upset of the year... the other just pure shocking. So here's all the details in this weeks SANFL wrap-up.

Friday Fight Night at Adelaide Oval saw the Bulldogs well and truly let down their guard against the Magpies. With a pretty ordinary forward line and no Brent Guerra, Port ran all over Central's defence and took the points with a 33 point victory.

Saturday arvo and Westies took top spot on the ladder for the first time in a long time by giving a sound thrashing to the luckless Panthers. The Bloods won by 107 points.

After their vocal protest at Regency Plaza, the Roosters faithful marched down to Prospect Oval, where the visiting Tigers took the fight to the home team and brought them down by four goals.

Finally on Monday afternoon, the Redlegs celebrated their 125th Anniversary in fine style against the Double Blues in front of 7000 SA footy heads at Norwood Oval. The home side, in their special guernseys, ran away with the points with a 31-point win.
