Ok ladies and gentlemen, what do you think will be the key matchups for this game.

I think for Port Wangas and Snr Burger will have good games both have been in great form this year and will be too quick for Essendon.

I also think Port need watch Misiti and that Kane should start on him. Misiti hasn't been in great form this year but copped a serve and performed last week, so I think he will still be fired up for this week.

Cupido will be Essendons most dangerous forward and maybe we should start Bishop on him (Wakelin/Paxman on Lucus), but if Cupido gets on top early then I think Jnr Burger would be a great matchup on him.

Port will miss both Cornes and Dew who have always had great games against the Bombers in recent games.

Cheers

Wilson on Cupido?

I initially thought Wangas but we need a bit of his drive through the midfield if Stevens is not 100%

Pickett on Cupido
Shaun Burgoyne as full forward if we don't promote Champion or White (although its more likely Che will get this job)
Bishop on Lucas (which probably won't work)
Paxman or Wakelin to have the bench as their primary opponent.

I think we need Pickett up forward still.

One game doth not maketh the man. What helped him was everyone looking out for him when we went forward. I think he needs a couple more weeks of that before he can play down back. But thats only my thoughts, it is also possible last week was a clear turn around and he will be right to play a close checking hard and tough game, coz if he isn't ready Cupido could win the game for Essendon.

I would think some faith would be shown in the Bish as well, he wasn't as bad as some people said he was. He wasn't out best but I thought he just about broke even with Petrie. Petrie had a couple of marks Bish had a couple of spoils and a few possessions. Nothing much between them.
