Should have got between 6-8 as he was caught twice in SAME game!
Lehmann got 5 for racial abuse, and that's fair enough. But how can that be 2 1/2 times worse than BLATANT and repeated cheating that may have helped Pakistan win the game?

yea I thought two was particularly lenient but mainly becuase it happened twice.
Not only did he ignore the original problem, he persisted with it.
I also thought Lehmann's was a fraction too harsh.
Would've given both 3-4 games.
If Shoaib had've done it just once then left it, I would've been happy with 2, even 1 provided he hasn't been charged iwth ball tampering before which I dont htink he has.
After seeing the footage,I couldn't believe he only got 2.He should have got the maximum penalty.
I here all of you complaining he didn't get more. I personally thought McGrath and Langer should both have been heavily fined. The ICC attacks the associations who will not fight back.

Well after seing Mcgrath i cant believe he got off god no wonder crickets in dissaray when an imbassile that has a hissie fit at everyone and a captain that insites opposition get let off it's obvious the games run by an aussie, such bias.
Mal Speed ohh i didn't see the incident till 24 hours after so he couldn't do anything, if thats the case Warne must be back playing technically cos that thingo saga started about a month after the tablet was diagnosed. What a gutless excuse by Speed he is the ICB chairman he can suspened anybody anytime. Gutless Aussie lover boy. P*$$ off speed you moron.
hmmm...a new low to meaningless rants and abuse hurling....

McGrath broke the spirit of the game.
Akhter broke the laws of the game - he cheated.
Big difference in my book. Not saying McGrath shouldn't have been fined (so should Lara for that matter) but Shoaib deserved the maximum penalty possible - it was disgraceful.
But apparently it's the "ugly Australians" ruining the game.

Yes McGrath should've been fined, but you can't compare McGrath and Akhtar's actions. One shoot off his gob,the other cheated.

Ah yes but the laws are at all times subservient to the spirit of the game
Breatking the spirit is a much worse crime than breaking a law.
and ball tampering isnt breaking both the spirit of the game AND its laws??
yet just breaking the spirit of the game is worse??
your logic overwhelms me
