Brogan and S.Burgoyne to choose from, would probably have had Thurstans if Sturt hadn't played on Monday.

2 - S.Burgoyne
Only 2 goals but played further up the field and probably made 3 or 4 goals as well as the ones he scored. Looked a class above in defence too.

1 - Brogan
Marked well, did well to get 2 goals. Should have had 3, AFL footballers should be able to at least make the distance from 35 metres. Not bad in ruck but Lade played there a lot more.

2 - Brogan. Is there a ruckman somwhere that actually looks graceful kicking?, because Brogan (like everyone ruckman it seems) looks like he's knocked back a few before having his shots at goal.
1 - Burgoyne. With Tredrea taking everything in sight (or so it appeared at times) I suppose one can forgive Junior for a bit quieter game then usual, but still certainly a good one.

2- Junior - his first quarter was outstanding, some of the things he did were brilliant, looked like Essendon were in for a lot of headaches. Then Tredders took over and Junior moved down back to put out some spot fires.

1- Brogan - ok game, kicked a couple, even one of his goals was an absolutely shocking kick. Lade was the dominant ruckman by a mile.
