This year the price of a W.A interstate has gone up about 10% on last year.

This year we get access to only 1 game as opposed to 2 due to the fixture, fair enough fixturing is not under the control of the club but surely the price could be adjusted downward to represent this.

I have received my tickets for the only game we have access to this year and have been given a $27 public access ticket in shit seats as opposed to the $46 standard seating for BOTH W.A games supplied in the preceeding 2 years.

I have a mate who has a Collingwood W.A membership and for $85 he gets entry to the 1 game the Pies play here and 3 home games in Victoria, why cant Essendon match this or even get anywhere close.

In summary the club is charging $140 for a scarf, a $27 ticket and a birthday card. I love the club, am proud to be a member and offer my support but being ripped off in such a blantant manner gives me the shits.

Agreed,

I will have to have a look at my ticket when I get home. I am proud to be a member and love my club, but i fail to see a lot of value for money in the insterstate plus membership. Something I will have to reconsider getting next year as my financials get tighter.

I believe my mates Hawthorn membership is a ballot for the Perth game/s plus entry to 5 in Victoria (I may be mistaken). He never fails to get a couple of tickets.

We don't bother with adult membership.

We get a junior membership which gets you all the goodies and a members sticker for the car and we just buy tickets online for WC and Docker games.

Last year when we played WC I took a punt and went to the ground without a ticket with my young son. It was an hour before the game and I ended up going to the ticket window and getting two prime seats for $50 each.

WC members who don't attend can sell their seats back to the club and they get sold on match day.

Freo games are have more tickets available but the way the going atm, it might be total sell out games at their matches as well.

It's all a pain in the arse....just to watch the Dons play at shitty Subi:(
