Cora Lynn were 2nd-last, and perhaps the only team Cerberus' had a chance of lifting against. This was Cora Lynn's first win.

On another site someone was complaining end of last year that Cerberus were planning to join the MPNFL rather than the West Gippy - and that they'd be too strong and thump the Nepean teams weekly....

Obviously someone's fear were a little unfounded!

I'm willing to bet (and this is a guess) that Cerberus couldn't field Under 18's and were given the finger by the MPNFL. It's the only explanation I can think of, because I would have thought that MPNFL Division 3 AKA Nepean Division would have been far better for them than Western Division WGLFL!
