Can't remember the book - it could have been the one on Fos Williams - but Fos' father definately looked Aboriginal. Wasn't mentioned in the book though.

The Michelangelo Rucci book on the Williams family, entitled DYNASTY, a great story, but perhaps the most poorly written, repetitive, poorly edited piece I have ever read, mentions that the Williams forebears arrived on Kangaroo Island from, i think, Cornwall and that there is no indigenmous blood in the family.
