As you might have noticed (;)), we've had a pretty large and fast changeover of mods over the last few months. We're still trying to find a system that works for us and for the posters on this board. There may be some teething problems early, but we're trying to hit on the right formula pretty soon.
The first thing I want to mention is the Changes thread. All of the mods are in agreement that the quality is pretty low in the first few pages after a bad loss. Closing the threads was intended to keep the reactionary comments away. It seems that people want to keep these threads open, so we'll be doing that from now on, but be warned that "OUT: Knights", "OUT: *10 players*", "IN: Sheedy/Matthews/Williams/Thompson/Hardwick" will be deleted. That's not to say that Knights is immune to criticism, but that goes in its own place, not in the Changes thread. Please keep it to a genuine opinion of the changes for the next week.
Secondly, the sticky threads. This idea has worked very well on other boards, in particular Bay 13. The idea is to recognise some of the better contributions to the board. Sometimes it'll be an OP, sometimes it'll be the discussion within the thread. Please try not to comment on "why is this thread a sticky?" in every single sticky thread. Just discuss the topic at hand.
If you have any problems, questions or suggestions, please feel free to PM a mod. We can guarantee that your comments will be taken on board.
Cheers,
BtG, Whomb, HFF, OldMav
