Who do you guys think will win it ? in both situations if either Collingwood or Essendon win.

My smokies are:

Kyle Riemers (I Think he is made for the big stage) if Essendon win

Travis Cloke: (Just think his copped alot of criticism and will stand up) if Collingwood win.

And looking realistically you'd think if Essendon get up:

Jobe Watson will probably take the medal

And if Collingwood win:

Dane Swan, since probably Pendlebury and Didak will be on the top of list to stop from their side, and he will rack'em up as usaul.

Sensational young player.

If I were having a bet on an Essendon player to win it, Watson would the only one I'd risk any coin on..

Essendon: Colyer. Ryder, Lovett and Zaharakis somewhat started their careers on this day, I think Colyer will be next in line.

Collingwood: Sidebottom. Has been in great form and is a real chance.

Hurley to win the Anzac Medal. Don's to triumph

Interesting pick. I feel if Hurley plays that well, then a midfielder would have to have played a blinder to provide him so much opportunity. If Hurley plays really well i believe Jobe or Stanton would win the medal.

Unless we see Hurley push up the ground and get his own ball more.

Good point, but if we win and hurley tears them apart like hawthorn and takes a pack of marks and kicks 5 that would almost be enough to take the medal.

My tip is hurley or mr reliable down back dustin fletcher (if we win he would have to stop alot of attacks)
From collingwood i would say sidebottom or thomas have been in good form so far.

nah, you can have an even spread of contributors from the midfield to form the supply

Wet day, remember. You'd think that would make it harder for marking talls and suit heavier built ball-winners (Ball, Hocking, O'Bree, Watson)

Ive got the same feeling bout ANZAC day that i did when we played st kilda in round 20 last year. So im exited.

I believe for essendon either Gumby, Hurley or Melksham to step up with 5+ goal performances or in Melkshams case 30 touches and a goal or 2.

Collingwood i cant go past Sidebottom or Daisy they have been on fire.

Not to worried about Pendlebury, Fraser or Cloke. Cause they havnt been themselves Pendles in particular dosnt look his classy dominate self. But being ANZAC day anythng could happen.

Im saying essendon by 25 points

This will be the ANZAC day where the young people from both teams stand up and announce themselves.

How the Frig did that clown win the medal? We wereall shaking our heads for the reasoning behind that decision. There were better players for Collingwood yesterday than Pendlebum.

Did anyone get Scott Pendlebury from one of those free TAB cards they were giving away outside the ground?

I have 2, was wondering what people were going to bet on?
