It looked like Warne, it sounded like Warne, the choice of words sound like Warne's, Warne was the only guy near the microphone at the time ... so, I guess ... it was Joe the Cameraman again ?
Poor little Shane, is everyone picking on him again??? When will he ever learn to keep his big mouth shut!!!?
What did he say?
where's wally?
I had no idea his tongue slipped again. I wasn't paying much attention, I wish I was. But its a sports field, he really can say what he likes. What happens on the field stays on the field. But the microphones are a problem.

I haven't heard any stories about Warne in the paper or at BaggyGreen - can someone fill me in?

Wally - Words to the effect of calling some Zimbo a "rucking classy runt" can't type the actual words as the ***** ****** ****** ****** will come up instead.
When will he learn ?
I wonder if all the old farts that rang ch 9 and complained have ever been to a local cricket or footy game. You'll hear naughty words all the time.

"No matter how good you are at something, there's always a million people better than you"
I was watching the game at the time, but didn't notice Warney drop the magic words. In the paper this morning some wanker said all his young children were watching. well so, it's a sporting field and these things are said in the heat of the battle. The microphone's don't need to be there, but that is irrelevant. Imagine if we had microphones at the footy? You can make out from the TV what they shout when they miss an easy goal.
Another minor incident blown right out of proportion by the media.
goeagles,
When Warne had 9 taken off one of his overs, he called the batsman a "f*cking arsey c*nt" as he was running.
I thought it was a quite funny actually- me and a mate who were watching it, looked at eachother to verify we had actually heard what we thought we had. Then burst into laughter. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif
Invasion of privacy???
"Players are concerned about the increasing level of media scrutiny they are being forced to endure and believe the transmission of on-field discussions and exhortations constitutes an invasion of privacy."

As for mikes at the footy.....watch out! Channel Nine's head of sport says they have all that and more planned for Season 2002. Could be very interesting. As for Warney, I don't think it was the "f" word that's upset everyone, but I think that "c" word could be to blame.
Im sure i heard shane warne say earlier too as well as that comment!
For F.ucks Sake!
Did anyone else hear that!
Mags, that was Andy Flower against the Windies i think, when they gave away a few runs.
mags, youre a chant man- whaddya think....?
Shane Warne loves durries,
He also loves a punt,
So give Shane Warne your packet of smokes,
You f*cking arsey c*nt.
