5 Games in and winderlich has been close to our bottom 3 players every week , yet his still getting a game? Knights needs to make a statement.

Welsh is a passenger, looks ok when the team plays well but is as soft as butter every other day of the week.. is this boy even in our best 22?

Ryder.. so much talent yet his intensity is so lacking.. yet to have an impact?

Jobe your a star, but captaincy looks abit of a burden on you. we should of given it to a player who can kick. who can lead from the front, take the game on.

Slattery .. you offer nothing and your of no use. yes you have the occasional game where you keep players to 2-3 goals but your to one dimensional and easy to beat.

Hille - returning from a knee, but you look poor at times at best. some of the work around the ground is terrible, mabye just fitness at the moment.

Dempsey looks at home in the forward line haha, hes got a solid kick and a short burst of pace.. Bring in atkinson and im all smiles.

Out: Welsh, McVeigh, Slattery, Winderlich, Hocking, Melksham.
In: Atkinson, Davey, Prismall, Laycock, Slattery and Houli

Can you please name such a player? I have no idea why you would name Jobe in this rant? At worst, he is about on par with where he was this time last year.. He is our best player by a long way, and as someone has said before, we are a Jobe Watson long term injury away from being on par with Richmond...

I don't really understand what you've solved here....

Bring in Atkinson... A certified nothing player who will certainly be delisted this year and doesn't cut the mustard at this level.

Bring in Davey who's form has been worse than all of those you've mentioned need to be dropped

Bring in Houli who looks like a frightened little schoolboy at AFL standard.

Whilst I agree that a number of the players you mentioned need a spell, I think rather than hap hazard, random selection processes, we need a bit more strategy involved.

See for example Gumbleton, he was nowhere in round 1 then backed up with a good game in round 2. He then had a couple of quiet games but was very good yesterday. Point is, they've made a decision that they are going to run with him and give him enough chance to proove himself. Credit to the selection committee for that.

The greater problem is their inconsistent approach to these selections. Neagle out after 1 game, Myers out after 1 ordinary game, Reimers out after 1 ordinary game, etc etc. It is critical that the selectors actually apply some strategy to the selection process rather than random gargbage they've thrown up over the first 5 rounds.

Davey would at least create some pressure. If anything I reckon Davey could do the Slattery job, and allow Slattery to maybe roam into midfield, where he is decent.

We need some players who can kick to leads. When we take a mark on the wing, we look like we are almost certain to turn it over.

While I can see your point re hank, the last thing we need in the midfield is a bloke who is slow as treacle and totally incapable of breaking a line (although he would run both ways)

How the **** do you know that?

Do you hear what he says match day. Do you know what he does on the training track? Do you know what he does after hours?

Oh Jesus....

So the ramifications for yesterdays disgrace is that I get to watch the biggest crab in the AFL become a consistent part of our midfield.

We may as well through the towel in.

What does this mean??? THis is a totally uninformed comment.. So only fast players can stand up under pressure? Better get Diesel to hand back his browlows and also his premiership medal. FFS... these comments are exactly why I am losing faith in this board

What a rubbish comment re: Jobe not being a good captain.

He's been great for mine, and considering people place so much worth in James Hird's comments, he has stated that Jobe has done an outstanding job. I never heard him say such a thing about Lloyd, either.

Perfect leader, and I support him 100%.

He's no the problem.

to slow mentally and to slow physically.. he cant run and when we need defensive pressure his not there?.. imo his a great player, but he doesnt need this burden of captaincy. he cant kick. sigh. so much wrong at our club

I take it the above means he's.

Your comments on Jobe are ridiculous. He would be winning our best and fairest by a country mile and is our only midfielder holding his own.

As for Hille he is just back from a serious knee and is playing ok and putting in hard.

Hasn't been nearly as effective as last year.

Teams have worked him out at stoppages - Back off him making him kick instead of handballing.

Needs another reliable clearance player to take the pressure off Jobe.

Not really. I don't think we'd miss a slow, below average skilled player.

At least with bringing in the other Slattery, we bring a bit more pace and added height into the backline. With Pears out, we may need it.

Don't see how that is scraping the barrel to be honest.

im pretty sure watsons kicking is the least of our worries. half the team kicks worse than him
