Yes Fletcher failed a fitness test, but even more concerning is another calf injury to Hird, as a result of today's training.

Yep, Sheedy confirmed it on the news here in Perth.

He said Lloyd is a definite, but Fletch and Hirdy are a definite miss.

Sheedy needs a kick up the bum.

Continually names players that won't play and ****s up everyones tipping let alone those who put money on it. :(

Hird was fit, then he re did his calf at training and will now probably miss another two weeks.

Serial team bull ****ter Sheedy. I can understand it every now and then but it is every week. :(

Very ****ed off with my club at the moment. How can Fletcher go from an 80% chance of playing to 0% chance in the space of 2 days? Dead set joke!

Early draft picks for next year sounds like a good break for Essendon IMO :D

You had yours in 2000. I think you averaged 36 out of 38 available
weekly.

The West Asutralian did a simulation and said you r second 18 would have finished 4th that year.

It's our turn now.

We had 38 available this week which is just so awesome after the past 3 seasons where we averaged soemthing like 3.2 knee recons per season.

Touch bloody wood.

well then wouldn't it be your fault if it buggers up your tipping - you know he's a serial team bull****ter, so take that into account when you look at the bomber line up

Surely I'm not the only one that takes **** all notice of our team line up every time it is printed. For the last 6 years I've never read a team sheet going to the game expecting anyone to play.

Kevin Sheedy continually, week after week names players that have no chance of pulling on the boots come match day. I don't know whether it is a immature attempt to disrupt the preperations of his opposition or a vendetta he has against the punters... Whatever it is, he needs to get over himself and start concentrating on the players that actually will play.

Essendon are struggling at the moment, and I would imagine he has enough to worry about without trying to trick or decieve the media and public in general.

As a Collingwood supporter I know first hand the pros and cons of hype and media attention, for obvious reasons.

Lets focus on the footy for a change.
