Why wouldn't we expect this every week?
This is merely turning up.
How bad are we if we celebrate when we actually show passion?
we went thru all this bs last year - one week on, next week off
if players need a blast from ex champs to get up for games, then we need new players

Agree completely my friend, however being subject to pending an afternoon in "tupperware heaven" courtesy of my better half I needed something positive to spruik :D
but jeez it's good to see the boys givin it a red hot go!

I hope the players can see how hard tackling & harassing the opposition can do. Do that to any team & they will struggle. Only time will tell if we can produce that type of pressure every week.

I agree with what was said. We should be playing with this sort of passion every week.

however if there's a **** hair of a drop off next week, then that will be inexcusable, so we will see
Yep, looked like we actually showed up to play tonight.
Proves we like to play from the front.. no chance to drop our heads! Really good effort and we looked positive.
Was impressed particularly with winders.. he really looked on his game.
Having said that.. big test is being able to repeat this next week without the huge "pressure" week. Also against an opponent that is a little tougher. We look great against sides who don't pressure the ball carrier (carlscum, hawkers) but doubt we will get that luxury every week.
But that is next week.. this week we get to enjoy the winners circle!
P.S. How bad are hawthorn? That is ugly.. I guess lucky they snatched that flag in 08 cause they looked poor..
