You might want to re-think having brown up there. He officially had 3 disposals and 2 goals. Westy would be a better option.

Never ever say that again, we are having a shocking year. We haven't been shocking for years despite top draft picks and we have only been uncompetitive once

And fortunately due to having to play football at Avondale Heights today I missed my first Victoran game this year (damn Saturday afternoone games). To cap off a nice day we lost by 185 points :(

Sowwy. :( I hate everyone pitying us. But we are better than St Kilda, even when we lose.

Sorry guys and girls, i cant vote until i have seen the game, because in the warm up i got hit by the footy and ended up spending my saturday in hospital.

Did you see who kicked it?

They said before the game that it was a bad omen that the banner ripped in the wind and the players couldn't run through it.

Sounds like a bad day all round. Hope you are ok now Mel.

Nah i didnt see who kicked it, cos i had my back towards them, while i was telling another man to watch out for the ball, then BANG, another one got me.

That banner was embarassing, its cause the lady that always does the banner on thursday nights was sick, so it wasnt dont properly. But ill just say it was embarassing being out there, man it didnt even do that at the carlton game a few weeks back when there was all that wind.

Yeah im fine, just got a bit of bruising on my neck(from the force of the ball), and a little bit of a headache. But other than that im fine.

Just not happy about not seeing the boys play.I know they lost and everything, but id still rather be at the game watching them lose, than be in hospital.

On 3AW today they asked the events manager of the MCG how many times they have to attend to people being hit by footballs and he answered that it happens a lot.
Well Mel it looks like you are a now a football statistic :)

Mel I think it was David King.

He had a shot at goal and it hit someone in the cheer squad area. He was quite upset and wanted to run over and check out whether you were OK but a North official said it was time for the prematch huddle. He held his hand up as if to say 'sorry' and ran back to the centre.

Yeah Bowden played alright, although he didnt set the world on fire or anything. He needs to improve on his fitness so he can run a full game out.

I know, everyone kept telling me he played alright, and that i missed his goals, i did try and get back to my seat, but as soon as i stood up i fainted, so i had to go to the hospital, but oh well i have it on tape now and ill watch that, but its not the same as watching the game live, thats what im disappointed about.

And Darcy would have been there if he just cleared his head of whatever rubbish is in there and replaced it with "the ball's in the air, it's near me, I'm going to (at least) try to mark it". I find it difficult to give votes to a ruckman who doesn't contest marks.

He took a couple of contested ones in front of me on medallion club side. Beat Burton easy that I thought he was injured?
