I know its kind of doubtful that he will ever see this, but i just wanted to express my sympathy to Marlon and hope that he doesnt have a bad impression of ALL Australians after being jumped by the gutless wonders in the city today.

Good luck to you Marlon and i know that all true cricket fans, and decent human beings hope to see you playing again at the soonest possible day.

Just disgraceful wasn't it?

As if Australia needs any more help with its international racial reputation following the One Nation result in WA.

Note: The Evening Standard here in London has a headline "Windies Star's in horror attack"... great

So the West Indies lost another contest with Australians http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/eek.gif http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/eek.gif

Its been said that the Windies aren't bonding as a team, this incident proves it with the other 2 players running away.

I read about the incident in the paper today with Marlon Black receiving more than a black eye. I hope this wasn't his lasting impression of Australia and was sad to hear that he now might miss the opening test against South Africa because of this 'loser' attack

Don't worry about your international reputation I won't be worrying about ours when I nobble Glenn McGrath before the start of this year's Ashes series.....now do I just incapacitate him a little or shall I really do a good job on him? mmmmm decisions decisions LOL

On a more serious note I don't think people will see it as a reflection on Australians in general, I remember John Crawley getting a bit of a beating in Cairns but then I also remember one of those Barmy Army pricks smacking Ian Healy in the face-these things unfortunately happen (just follow whats happened over here with those Leeds Utd players battering an Asian kid unconcious)

I hope we see him back in Australia soon - which will mean they've caught the low life scum that did it and he's here testifying against them.

Team mates - yeah, real 'team' mates those gutless guys are....they're nearly as bad the idiots that attacked Marlon to start with. Bet there was some tension between the players on the flight out of Australia.
