Hi Footy Fans...
Round 10 of the SANFL this last weekend saw probably the best hard fought match of the year so far between South Australian local football's most fiercest rivals as well as the third biggest upset of the year.
So here's the wrap for this weeks matches...
Saturday was the day for SA footy heads, starting with the ABC Match of the Day where SA's footballing heavyweights fought it out at Alberton Oval for the first time in two years, and the two were evenly matched for most of the game. The Magpies were not to be denied though, ultimately taking the points against the Redlegs to the margin of three goals.
At Adelaide Oval, the Eagles took hold of fourth spot on the ladder with a 42 point win over the Panthers, whose only highlight was their five-goal last effort.
The third biggest upset win of the year came this time in favour of the Tigers, who shoved Sturt into the turf with a 49 point trouncing of the reigning premier.
Finally up at Elizabeth, the Bulldogs made a meal of the Roosters with a 110 point dismantling of the visitors, three Bulldogs each scoring four goals each.
