It's on FOX8 for those of you who haven't heard of it.

If you take it with a grain of salt then i reckon its a pretty hilarious show.
I've only seen a few episodes and it is funny.

Haven't seen any Son Of The Beach, but the bloke that plays the lead character, (can't remember his name) had a show that's been on the Comedy Channel, Night Shift. It's a send up of the Jerry Springer-type talk shows and it was **** funny. Played the host of the show, name of D*ck Deitrich. :cool:

That'd be Tim Stack.
I too enjoyed his show in the Comedy Channel, although i think it was called Night Stand.
Son of the Beach is one of the worst shows I've seen. It is just not funny at all - I despair if that is the standard people are willing to accept nowadays.
Shows like Son of the Beach, Funniest Home Videos and those police chase shows always leave me with this feeling that I have just put a 30 minute hole into my day for no reason whatsoever. I could have been sleeping, eating, reading, working, exercising or even cutting my toenails. But no, I was having half an hour sucked out of my life by some drivel that you could not even call mindless fun.
Frasier - now that's a funny show. The writers on Son of the Beach aren't fit to tie the shoelaces of the Frasier writers, let alone give the crap they dump onto our TV screens the title of "comedy".
And p&p - you bought the DVD? It boggles the mind that they even bothered releasing it, let alone that someone bought it!

Yeah, fair enough. It's not the most outstanding DVD amongst my collection of170, but it was good for a laugh at the time.
Don't think it will get another viewing.
