Saw it today, thought it was OK, not great, and definitely not Denzel's finest movie although he played the character fairly well. Decent performance from Gary Oldman as yet another hard ass bad guy (at times I though I was watching Jack Nicholson, like something out of The Departed)

A post-apocalyptic tale, in which a lone man fights his way across America in order to protect a sacred book that holds the secrets to saving humankind

The background and scenery in the trailer for this movie is freakishly similar to the wastelands from the epic fallout1&2 games

it was a very interesting movie. I think I liked it better than "The Road"

nice little twist at the end. An OK pop-corn movie.
