The Oasis Glenorchy Football Club Hall of Fame renovations have commenced and are due to be completed by early June.
The official opening of the room is set down for the 21st June when we play Clarence at KGV. To mark the occasion the senior team will wear a specially designed black & white ‘Hall of Fame’ jumper. These jumpers will be auctioned at the conclusion of the match to raise funds for the ‘Hall of Fame’.
All 20 inductees will be honoured with a photo & brief history, which will be displayed in the ‘Hall of Fame’.
In July the New Town Glenorchy Past Players & Officials Association will hold a luncheon at the Club to induct a further six players/officials to the Oasis Glenorchy Football Club ‘Hall of Fame’.
We urge all past players, members, supporters and sponsors to attend the opening of the Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame opening is a day you will want to remember. All the champions - past & present, all the off field stalwarts and characters will be there.
The Club along with the Past Players Association are offering businesses an opportunity to sponsor a ‘Hall of Fame’ inductee. The money raised from this initiative will go towards ‘Hall of Fame displays. If you are interested in sponsoring an inductee please contact Shayne Stevenson at the Club.
