SFL v VAFA

Should be a good main game between a reasonably strong southern side and a VAFA side ( with players from A - D4), who won the cup last year by two goals. Go Southern!

Beats the AFL's attempt at community football...

(Apart from the Fitzroy reds playing at the MCG ofcourse Kev;) )

What was the AFGL's attempt? Did I miss something here in North Korea?

The VAFA side is from the C and D grades only.

The A and B Grade boys will be in Perth for the game against the WAAFL.

The AFL has advertised through a number of media that the forthcoming round will be all about "grassroots football", with some country and local games being played as curtain raisers to afl games.
The TV ads probably don't screen in NSW (or North Korea as u put it!), being aimed specifically at a victorian audience.

Yeah, including the two Division One VCFL championship semi finals - which I am browned off about because now I can't go! I refuse to line the pockets of the AFL clubs for ANY reason!

I'll post my preview of the semis later this week. And I'll be seeing a club game this weekend instead (no umpiring of course!)

Watch out for Afrim Odza from Box Hill North if he plays in this game. Gets about 40 posessions a week for us.
