Just wondering how these boys are going.

Has Marc reovered from his knee operations yet?

Finnin has been doing well in the backline in the VFL.He must've had a run up forward on sunday,as he kicked 2gls.

Woolnough played his first VFL game for the year just 2 weeks ago. He's still struggling with knee problems. He'll either retire or be delisted at season's end.

One must feel sorry for the poor kid, but his knee problems have slowed him down to the point where he just can't keep up with the pace of the game.

He should have been delisted at the end of last season.

Sadly, Marc will never recover.

He is resigned to the fact that his career is over, but in true Woolnough fashion, he is going to play out the season with the VFL team.

The most courageous and selfless player in my time supporting Geelong.

As for Finnin. He's showing a great deal off half back in the VFL. He's still skinny, but his long left foot is pretty special.

As soon as he bulks up, he'll be a regular senior player.

Was an excellent trade for both teams.

That's a real shame for the kid. I have tried to follow his progress since the operations but there has not been much news of him.

glad to see Ben progresssing well. Once players have been on your list you always have a soft spot for them.

Except Lawrence Angwin but that's another story.

Marc never got the chance to show the footy world what he could do, but when he first arrived, he was considered a better prospect then other father son draftees of the time (Scarlett and Clarke).

He's an intelligent kid, so no doubt he'll head to Deakin, finish his degree and come out in a few years with an excellent job.

I just hope the club keeps him involved because he is one hell of a role model for the kids.

Definitely.

I'd love to see Ronnie Burns get a premiership with the Crows before he retires.
Was the same with Robert Scott way back when. Was so happy for him when he finally got the premiership medal that he long deserved.
