I am not an avid WAFL follower since 94 . I look at the WAFL as a feeder comp & actually find more time for the Sunday League more these days cause the biffo isnt scrutinised.
BTW East Freo supportters , most of my family are Sharks & I actually live 2 minutes walk from Moss Street... thats the closest you'll get me to a East Freo Jersey. & Ripper & co I respect that club greatly , any club that has won 30+ flags I smell the history every nite when I go to bed such is the stench from Moss Street !!!!!!!!!

Best goal I have ever seen was from a guy called Jeff Cassidy ( #5 83-86 ) ****in with rain on a winters afternoon at East Freo V Claremont in 84 , Jeffrey soccered from the baundary line through 3 Tiger defenders in the mud the best goal I have ever seen !!!

I don't think your sexuality could ever be questioned! *lol*

Jeff Cassidy was one of my mum's favourites, but I think it had more to do with his curly hair than his on ground perfomances :)

My favourite moment in a Derby was that goal kicked by Clinton Browning in the dying moments of a close one at East Fremantle oval :)

I was born in Dalgety Street, which is something I am proud of :)

Can we park on your front lawn for the next derby?????

I was Born at the ol' Woodside aswell :)
My favourite derby moment was that 90 metre;) torpedo from Noal Carter 83 Foundation day after the siren to win the game at East Freo !!! & yes East freo fans , Ron Alexander did tackle him to high , Carter DID NOT duck !!
Parking aint an issue for WAFL Games no More , I am sure you can get parking no worries on the islands on Marmion street quite easily :)

yeah, but it's not quite the same unless you cop the evil glare from residents with those Keep Off Registered Lawn signs :)

I remember the 1997 WAFL Grand Final with great fondness. It was the best game in my living memory. With Warren Campbell (son of the legendary Basil) kicked the winning goal in the last minutes of the final quarter to put the Doggies in front for the fist time (at the only time it really matters) for the match.
We were sitting in front of some quite obnoxious Shark's fans. At three quarter time the Sharks were 30 odd points up and they were carrying on how this would be their whatever number premiership, and proceeded to break out the party food with blue and white jellybeans (I kid you not. I bit of a Wet Toast trait coming to think of it). I must say when the final siren went, I looked around, and surprisingly, they were no where to be seen.
Sweet, sweet victory. :D

Old Easts (I can remember when they were called that). Not travelling very well this year. Dreadful shame. Heartbreaking to see that kick just before the siren miss the goal for a 1 point loss on Foundation Day.
