It is way too hard to single out one player.

I rate them roughly in this order:

Welsh
McPhee
Cupido
Bullen
Hille
Richards
Forster-Knight
Reynolds
Harvey
Bannister
Winderlich

That is predominantly based on what they have produced on field in the ones.

Based on potential i think Reynolds and Winderlich are going to be the best of that group over time.

Other...

I reckon J.Watson - once fit - may well prove to be the proverbial chip off the old block...

Watson will be a gun, Welsh has taken Dimma's spot - and thats no mean feat.

Cupido will be a good player for us, along with quite a few of the younger kids i.e. the [B]Stick boys[B] - Reynolds/Winderlich/Walsh/Harvey

Bullen should have already played more games.

One guy who will become our number one ruckman is O'Keefe. Mark my words, this boy sh ts all over Hille as a ruckman, not that thats hard, but he definitely will do well.

Another not mentioned is Sam Hunt. he has a lot of potential and will be one of our two big key backmen in years to come.

Jury is out on: Henneman, Bannister, Forster-Knight, McGrath.

Welsh is proving to be genuine class act.

Hille isn't that far behind.

Winderlich has that natural ability.

McPhee sneaks under your guard - thanks Freo:D

Bullen is the heir apparent to Joey clearly.

Cupido has that little bit of pazzaz.

Hunt (who doesn't get a mention), is going to be good defender.

O'Keefe once he recovers from glandular fever will get his chance.

Walsh needs beef, as does Bannister, Richards and Reynolds

Harvey is going to be important in the next few years. As with McGrath and Forster-Knight.

Johns could be in the senior side soon - has the bulk already. Same goes for Watson.

Cartledge and Laypenis need a little work.

i voted for 'other' - his perfomance this year has been spectacular. i can't believe 'other' hasn't been nominated for the rising star! It's a god damn afl conspiracy!

McPhee and Welsh have probably shown the most at the moment, but i reckon Harvey, Winderlich and Reynolds have the potential to be stars.

Bannister is the only one who probably won't make it.

I voted Marc Bullen as I've had big wraps on him for a couple of seasons now, but he's just started to show his talents.

My list would look like:

1) Bullen
2) Welsh
3) Cupido
4) McPhee
5) Harvey
