I just wish Dean Jones would shut his bloody mouth for 5 seconds.
His attack on Michael Klinger was a disgrace.
This is coming from a man who 'retired' then wanted to play again.
If he thinks the kid has a batting problem why doesn't he offer to help him.
Then again he probably want a heap of money for it.

Yes, heard him on the radio today and I thought he was a little harsh. But he does know what he is talking about and hopefully he will help Klinger out.

I've always been a bit of a Deano fan, both his ability and I also like the way he says things as he sees them, usually with no regard to the 'political' outcome.
Late last year I went to a lunch that he was speaking at. It was a great lunch and he is a very good public speaker - he had some great stories to tell. At the end of the lunch both he and Viv Richards (who was really interesting too), signed autographs, books etc. I got Deano to sign one of his books for me, he asked who it was for & I told him it was for me. I'm assuming it was because I am female, but he wrote "ALL MY LOVE Dean Jones xxxx". What sort of crap autograph is that? All I wanted was his signature on the book, not a stupid message that in his 'hey day', may have excited his female fans. Made me think he has an ego problem.

Well Jod23, I can't really argue with some of his stats, and perhaps without that ego of his, the stats may not have been as impressive. So yeah, I guess I like him! lol
