Just heard on the news that Wayne Carey is out of tomorrows team after injuring a calf at training today.
Things keep getting worse.
Crud. So Ladhams gets a recall?
Ladhams is the 23 player who will travel as CArey hasn't been ruled out but I can't see him playing.
If it doesn't rain it pours.
Good statement considering the weather here at the minute - atrocious.

Good statement considering the weather here at the minute - atrocious. Given the conditions, I'm not too fussed that Ladhams is coming in for Carey. We can use Welsh, Roo & Burton in the goal square with Ladhams, Edwards, Macca, etc crumbing (& Sarge patrolling HF).
Doesn't sound too bad....not a tear or even much of a strain but he's felt the calf a bit, and the conditions wouldn't have suited him.
I even feel a little more confident with him out as I think the structure and balance of talls and smalls is a little bit better.

Looks like Adelaide are just as bad as hawthorn at the moment, with all their injury problems.

This sounds like a bit of an airy to me. The team will have its meeting tonight outlining team structure and tactics yet Carey won't be there. My gut feeling tells me that he will miss and probably won't be back until after the break.:(

Yep, you're right there Stiffy, and if there was any more doubt about it, the hierarchy will wake up tomorrow and see the rain pouring and the wind blowing and realise this won't be the game to risk him.
Let's get the King, Stevo, Stinger, Clarkey, Bodey and Rocking Ronnie all cherry ripe for the second half of the season ;)
This has got to be a smoke screen where Careys concerned.
I reckon he was always gonna be "rested" and the Carlton game was probbably always going to be his return game.
