View Full Version : Edwards v Goodwin
Who's more valuable to us?
I suspect I know which way the vote will go but I think it is an interesting subject.
At the moment, Edwards. He's getting more of the ball and making better use of it.
It's a hard question.
There's been very little difference between Edwards' best and worst the last 3 years - and it's all been at a very high level. R/U in last year's B+F, and if the season stopped now, he'd be at least top 3 for this year I would have thunk.
Goodwin has struggled at times this year, but I think his best is just a skerrick ahead of Edward best. Goodwin is also a little more versatile, in that he can (if required) play a tight tagging role, and is a slightly better overhead mark.
I pick Goodwin (though like Dave W, for this week I'd pick Edwards), but I'd like 3 of each cloned thanks.
This poll is like asking a man to chose between beer and footy
You just need both.

Goodwin....... Easily his possesions just seem more damaging and you just don't see him make the amount of mistakes that Edwards makes- alot of Edwards' mistakes end up as opposition goals
I'm not trying to bag Edwards, he is a good consistant player , but IMHO we are going to miss Goodwin more than we would have missed Edwards
