When he was interviewed in England, Katich said that he hadn't been approached by WA yet and that he wasn't interested in leaving NSW. :(
I doubt it. Season 2002/03 was the making of Katich as an all-rounder. Being a spinner, I suspect Kato would prefer to play half his games at the SCG rather than the WACA. ;)

I haven't heard anything on this, although it's possible as it was reported that the reason why Katich left was because of the problems he had with the coach Mike Veletta, who's now departed the scene.
But I doubt this will happen. As DaveW said, Katich has made a name for himself as an all-rounder this season and this is definitely his best chance to get international action of some kind in the near future.
As a pure bat, he's fallen well down the list on the pecking order.

Also Katich has been handy with his spinners - so he wouldn't want to return to WA which doesn't do many favours for the spinners.
