Who's seen the Indian XI v Australian XI slog-o-thon Exhibition Match

Just logged on to CricInfo and seen Australian XI v India XI Exhibition match.

wanting to investigate further i clicked to see the live scorecard.

turns out its a 40 over a side match. After 29.3 overs, India are 5/246.

Sachin Tendulkar was out for 93 from 49. Admittedly Australia had a few old timers like Ray Phillips and Greg Matthews playing.

When the first wicket fell, India were 1/127 after 12 overs, Tendulkar 93.

Although this match probably doesn't give much of an indication to the upcoming one day series but I do think Australia would rather that 5ODI series go a little smoother than this match has so far.

after 32 overs, India 5/278, Dahiya and Robin Singh both 17 not out.

have a look at the 32nd over bowled by Bevan:

What going on with my CricInfo screen. i was on 32 overs, went back to 25 overs, now up to 34 overs in about a minute.

Anyway, who's J Campbell. he picked up 2/3 off the final ever.

If the actual series follows the same path as this match, it could be a long series for Australia.

Admittedly it was a charity match, and we had 4 non current cricketers in the team.


But i think, they would've rathered put in a bit better showing than that.
