Do you reckon this is a reasonable indication of the difference between the two leagues?

The population drawn from for each of the two leagues would be roughly equal, wouldn't it?

Launceston + North and North West Coasts roughly equals population of Hobart?

Southern Football League used to have all the former big name stars of the TFL. And the NTFL has a lot of main land footballers playing in it. I think that the SFL should field 2 temas

Premier and Regional, because Regional football isn't up to the same standard as the Premier league. There's alot of talent in the main league. Cygent would be the only team that could run with teams like Clarence, Glenorchy, North Hobart, Hobart, New Norfalk.

Yeah, but some of the players in the Southern league are players that should have given the game away years ago. Regional football in the South is very poor, because of the fact that there is many older players playing. AS for the Premier League, there is many younger players playing. The game may have been good if it was close, North looked really good, and South looked like Melbourne yesterday.
