why did the players who kicked meaningless goals in the last quarter insist on going for the high fives when the side was getting pumped and the magpies took their feet of the pedal. consolation goals are meaningless to the supporters. a little bit of effort during the game would be much more appreciated by the supporters.

Well what are they supposed to do? Run up to each other and go "WHY COULDN'T YOU F'ING DO THAT IN THE SECOND QUARTER?" and have a full and frank discussion about the sides poor performance in the middle of the field?

Every goal we kicked today was a major achievement. They deserved some congrats.
