Maatabeleland were set a target of 302 runs to win their match gain Mashonaland in the Zimbabwean Logan Cup.

However, rather than putting up a good fight, they were humbled by 282 runs.

The amazing thing is the Matabeleland team had 3 internationals - Streak, Mbangwa and Nkala.

The last time a team was dismissed for less was 1959/60 when Border where dismissed for 16 in the 1st Innings by Natal. But for Border, their embarssement was doubled when they were dismissed for 18 in the second dig.

A meaningless piece of trivia, but worth noting.

Far be it from me to disagree WC but in the County Championship in 1983 (I'm pretty sure it was 83) my team Essex bowled out Surrey for 14 & they only made this many because the no 11 West Indian Sylvester Clarke hit at least one four maybe even two of them I can't quite remember but they we're staring down the barrel of a single figure total. The funny thing is they were going pretty well in the second dig until the rain came & the match was a draw.
Maybe this doesn't count because the County Championship isn't seen as 1st class cricket over there-LOL
