So after round 10, Belly continues to lead the award despite strong pressure from Matty Carr, who is having a stellar season. Roger "The Genius" Hayden's ankle injury seems to have cost him dearly as he has dropped from 2nd to 4th in the space of one week.

Paul Hasleby has regained his spot in the top three after earning 5 votes in another solid performance and Matty Pavlich receives 4 votes after a quality performance against Kouta, increasing the gap between 6th and 7th.The big mover this week was Medhurst, who earned 7 votes to jump five places after kicking seven goals.

Jimmy "The Ghost" Walker earned 3 votes (his second vote attracting game for the season) and Graham Polak and Troy Simmonds earned 2 TOTAL votes for the round from our fourteen voters to leave us with a total 8 players receiving votes, however could not be awarded a vote as only seven players are able receive votes in one round. Their tally of 2 votes was also only a quarter of the total votes received by the 6th highest vote getter.

It's fair to say that we are in for an interesting second half of the season with McPharlin still to come back after an outstanding second half last season, Simmonds and McManus as the sleeping giants with only 11 and 15 votes respectively (underrates their seasons thus far IMO) and Dessy Headland yet to string consistent performances together.
