The Simpsons: why did no one work at the nuclear power plant on the weekends? surely you need people working there so the towns power runs smoothly and theres no chernobel (spelling) incidents
MASH: how come they never bothered to learn some korean so they could speak and have basic communications with the koreans? i know its an english show but surely they should have learned some medical words for them? espicially father, hawkeye and hot lips

I thought Father Mulcahy did speak a bit of Korean as he spent a lot of time at the orphanage
Happy Days - Where did Mr & Mrs Cunningham's oldest son Chuck vanish to? Why didn't any of the other characters remember him, or enquire about his wherabouts?
Cold Case - A similar one to the above, why didn't any of the Cold Case squad, experts in solving difficult homicides and missing persons cases, enquire about what happened to their new detective, Josie Sutton, when she failed to show up for work one day?
Men Behaving Badly - One of the episodes late in the series revolved around Gary's inability to drive; but he is seen driving competently several times in the earlier series.
Heartbeat - The show has been going 17 years with long standing characters aging accordingly - but it is still set in the 1960s!
Why does everyone from the Simpsons and Family Guy wear the same clothes everyday?

Battlestar: How did Gaius Baltar survive a nuclear blast by ducking behind his Cylon girlfriend? Also, why is there a Gauis-Angel and a Six-Angel even though both of them survived? (well, she died, but she was reincarnated)
Smallville: It was annoying how dozens of people discovered Clark Kent's identity and somehow ended up with amnesia by the end of the episode.

The symbolism of the horse in Twin Peaks (season 2)
CSI - Great show but I'm pretty sure CSIs don't question suspects or carry guns.

Nicely played :D
Plenty of wierd things in the Simpsons that make no sense; multiple episodes show their neighbours house behind them yet in another ep Homer goes to work, takes him forever and we find out the Power Plant is directly behind them?!
Was very annoyed with how the Sopranos ended at first, didn't make sense but after watching it a few times, superb ending. Everything that you wanted to know is cleverly answered.

I think she was shielding him from glass and debri caused by the shock wave. The angles weren't six and Gauis they just took their form so they could inluence them

Please don't start this again. If ever there was a way to sidetrack a thread, the questions posed by Back to the Future would be it.

I was talking to a SOCO about this a while ago. Not only do they not do it, if they did it would completely compromise the impartiality of forensic evidence, and probably ruin their ability to get a conviction.

HIMYM
Marshall CAN TRAVEL IN TIME?
WHAT
Alias: everything after Sidney destroyed SD-6.
HIMYM
Marshall CAN TRAVEL IN TIME?
WHAT
HIMYM consists of many flash-backs and sometimes even flash forwards and dream sequences, but Marshall actually travelling in time? Could you please advise which episode this happened in, and in what context?

he writes a letter to himself when he is 15 to open when he is 30. during the episode when he is 30 he writes to '60' year old marshall (i.e he doesnt read the letter till he is 60). so the joke is in another 30 years they are able to time travel

Is there a moment in the show that states noone works there weekends?
Homer/Lenny/Carl may just have the regular 9-5 Mon-Fri shift.
You've picked a very obscure thing to pick on the Simpsons about when you could pick on a few things:
-Springfield has an ocean, a desert, a snowy mountain and many features that seem impossible to work together
- Burns' office is in the actual power plant and for some reason he deals directly with low level employees.
- Krusty's fame varies from episode to episode as does the nature of his TV show. From local clown that hosts a crappy kids show, to has been, to national prime time show host.
This was mentioned on Family Guy but on How I Met Your Mother why does future main character have a different voice (Bob Saget I think) when he is already clearly an adult. He's not going to grow up into that voice.
NCIS - How many ****ing military crimes are there within the US military?

The other week on neighbours (hangs head in shame) there was some crazy psycho stalker chick and then all of a sudden she gave a lecture to the person she was stalking that any shrink would be proud of.

Why are there no teenagers in the Simpsons? There is no high school, but you only have the kids who got to Springfield elementary or adults........nothing in between. The closest thing was the college episode.

The symbolism of the horse in Twin Peaks (season 2)
This (http://www.twinpeaks.org/faqeps.htm#e35) may go some way to explaining it, or may just confuse things further. Either way, it's not immediately obvious at all IMO.
One thing that kind of annoys me, moreso than being something I don't understand - In The Young Ones, the ending of 'Bomb' (Series 1, Episode 4) has always seemed like such a weak letdown of a finish to me. I know they couldn't realistically have the bomb be real and/or explode, but the ending just reeks of "we don't know how to end this, so we'll just do something completely random", and spoils what is otherwise a very funny episode of one of my favourite television shows. Obviously the series is full of stupid random stuff happening throughout each episode, but the ending to that particular episode was quite weak IMO.

Jimbo, Dolph and Kearney all seem like teenagers even though they go to Springfield Elementary.

Kearney is an adult, but I assume Jimbo and Dolph are teenagers
The death of Marge's father never being explained in The Simpsons.
The only episodes that I know he was in were "The Way We Was" and "Fear of Flying"
Just seems strange for such a long running show not to mention it at all.

Why was everyone in Futurama preserved at the age they were in 2000? Shouldn't the heads of Pamela Anderson, Lucy Liu etc. have been of those celebrities at their oldest, not as their middle-aged selves? And how did guys like George Washington end up getting preserved when they died long before that technology was available?

Bobby Ewing returning to Dallas after being killed in a car crash and the producers making everything that had happened for the year after that crash a dream.
