I was just thinking that maybe each of the four teams could have a home ground that they could play some of their matches at? Each ground would have a sort of pre-determined type of pitch so that bowling structures could be organised prior to a game.

For the West Coast Warriors if the idea goes ahead, I am still undecided as to what we should have as our home ground, a fast pitch or a fairly standard pitch taking into consideration we have 4 pace bowlers and 3 spin bowlers.

What does everyone else think of this idea?

PS Some matches could be scheduled at unknown grounds so that neither team has an idea on pitch conditions. Would there be any way to give a home team a home ground advantage WCE2000?

the only pitch setting on the game i've got are good, normal, poor or random. I just choose random every game.

There is no option for extra spin, dry pitch, bouncy pitch etc,.

But does that mean a good pitch is one that is suitable for pace, normal for all bowling types and poor for only spin?

Would there be any other ways of having a home ground advantage?

You're gonna need more than home ground advantage to beat the rampant Allies mate!

We could piece-by-piece re-lay the Arden St turf on WCE2000's mousemat for the Allies' home ground... how's that sound? http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif
