For all players, that is Sunday WEEK. Not this Sunday.

- Joshhem

The reasoning - batters/all-rounders who missed out on a bat last week will get a hit. Joey and Nick are dropped down the order because they got a fair hit last week. MB batted like a drunk, so gets a chance to play for his spot after all the others have had a hit.
Also, please welcome CJ into the team. He is our bowling all-rounder and will bat at 8. Couldn't fault his enthusiasm, so he gets a run first up. Homer plays this week too after being rotated out last week.
Joshhem and SydneyFan are rotated out this week, now that we have two extra players - and Joshhem gets to carry the drinks.
Stephen and Dipper played too well to get dropped, being our best two bowlers in the last game.

Ok I've taken daddy_4_eyes suggestion about promoting an allrounder to the opening batsmen position so as to take the brunt of the bowling attack. If it doesn't work we can always change http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif. Anyway the batting order for the match is as follows:

jod23
Esperito
Visro
WA
daddy_4_eyes
ONE EYE
Wally
GoEagles
carneagles
eagleskickass
Frodo

12th Man - GLEN

---------------------------------------------

GoEagles, after woeful bowling in the last match I only just gave you the nod hoping that you can redeem yourself (Pray the wicket is spinning http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif). GLEN will get a bowl next week so dont worry mate http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif. The batting really needs to step up so that there isn't another batting collapse like in the match against Victoria. eagleskickass, hopefully you can bowl like in that last match http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Anway thats all I can think of saying, if one of the vice captains wants to add more they can. Oh that reminds me, vice captain for this match is eagleskickass, a reward for making the team website. Next week it will be someone else out of the three.

Cheers Vis

Hey Darky good to see that you're giving everyone a go to show they're stuff but I hope it doesn't back fire on us pushing Nick & Joey down the order after what they did last time.Still it's at Sydney so probably a good call bringing Homer in hopefully him & Stephen will get a bit of turn.
I'm pretty confident overall, these lot don't have anything to scare us with & although I plan on giving Vis a bit of a working over I'm really looking to save my best for the April 29 game at Perth where on that bouncy track I'll be looking to give him a bit of what our West Indian friends call 'Chin Music'!
Still good luck to everyone in the Allies side, let's keep up the good work of the previous game & exert some strong phsycological pressure on their batters, run the quick singles & not give away any extras.

Here we go, this match is set to start.

If it anywhere near as exciting as the SA/Vic match, where in for a thriller.

Tony Greig has inspected the pitch, and thinks 230 will be enough to win.

The Allies won the toss and Darky has decided his team will have a bat.

Mags and RichmondFan#1 will be opneing the batting, while eagleskickass has the ball in hand.

The Allies run-rate will also be of some concern, just 3.7 runs an over, so they will really need to get a move on in the last 20 overs.

at 1/66, one would think this match is over. Esperito has batted very well, a brilliant captain's move to promote him to opener.

And the captain himself, Visro, is also batting very well moving to 16 in quick time.

The alllies defeintaly need some quick wickets now.

Hey Darky looks like you've got some tough decisions coming up, we were terrible all through the side.Nick & Joey need to be put back up at the top of the order-let's be brave & shove it up those South Australians in the next game.

PS I still believe that we're the best side in the comp.
